Napton Music Festival started in 2006 and is proud to offer 12 entertaining hours of music over two stages and though it has been called off due to bad weather in the past, 2016 looks good to go. We have been away for nearly two months recharging the batteries and enjoying holidays, Chris, Smit have been to Spain Addy to Portugal and Luke to his favourite Holiday destination.Rother Valley, he went camping and chasing Sheep around! Tuesday, December 27, 2005. Napton Lock on a sunny day. Without doubt, this is one of the more famous Locks on the UK Canal system. Its a quiet day and the shot shows the empty Lock Keeper's house waiting for new occupants! I will take some of the more spectacular views of the Lock when we next get another sunny day - including the 'long shot' view from half-way up Napton Hill. Posted by naptonian at 4:02 AM. Parish Council meetings are held every month on the first Monday of each month (unless it is a Bank Holiday, when it is usually the second Monday) at 7.30pm in Napton Village Hall. Members of the Public are welcome to attend any Parish Council meeting and will be allowed to address the Parish Council on matters of concern during an Open Forum at the beginning of each meeting.
