Thursday, February 10, 2011. Kailua should also be considered. It's not as distant as the North Shore but is still away from the circus of Waikiki and only a half hour away depending on traffic. It has a world-class beach and is a lot more laid back than Honolulu. Lots of B&B's available as well as rentals. Has it been only a couple of days since I have been trying to post to this blog site? It feels like forever - I think the 21st century is rapidly passing me by. OK - I am up for any day in Hawaii!

People interested in staying for a week could do a Weds to Weds (July 26 - Aug 1). The Island of Oahu. North Shore or Waikiki? Should we plan a luau? I did check the airlines and they will not accept reservations more than 330 days out. So we have a little time. But we have to start working on the hotels or bread and breakfast places.
