look out london: city of love

http://lookoutlondon.blogspot.com/2008/09/city-of-love.html

Sunday, September 14, 2008. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In December 2004, Woz and I left the sunny shores of Australia for life on a narrowboat in central London. After almost four years, three and a half of them spent afloat, we have moved to Tripoli, Libya where we will make our home. Look out London' is now just a reminder of our life in London, the good times, the hard times and those in between. Read on, if you dare. Which country should we head for on our road trip? Right here, right now.

look out london: August 2008

http://lookoutlondon.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 31, 2008. Are we there yet? By late afternoon we had made our way to Český Krumlov which was our destination of choice (recommended once again by Andi). A beautiful town with lovingly ornate buildings built into the rock face, cobblestoned streets and a river flowing through it's heart. Necessity is the mother of invention . and adventure! It was a beautiful ride - flat (which suited me perfectly! I never wanted to be a lumberjack . I always wanted to be a vegetarian. Andi's latest project...

Saturday, September 20, 2008. After months of talking about it, we finally have a date. We are actually going to Libya. In fact, as of Wednesday afternoon we'll be calling it home. We have four days left to spend in London, with all the usual last minute stuff but this time it all feels a little more organised which is refreshing to say the least. We will be waiting for your updates from Libya. Can't imagine what it will be like.xx. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Read on, if you dare.

http://lookoutlondon.blogspot.com/2008/09/playground-of-rich-famous-and-coal-man.html

Friday, September 12, 2008. Playground of the rich, the famous and the coal man. Has long since wanted to visit, particularly. With the Grand Prix. In mind, but as we were in the area, we decided to stop in on our way along the French Riviera. It was a hot and sticky day and so after a walk around the main part of town we headed towards a swimming pool which Woz. Has had his eye on for years. if you watch the Grand Prix. Very exclusive. Ever determined, Woz. Where are you staying tonight? The prospect of...

Narrowboat Pair For Sale

Narrowboat Pair For Sale. Freyja and Christina crossing the English/Welsh border on the Chirk akkiduck. Wednesday, 4 July 2012. The brew cupboard revisited. It was supposed to be the airing cupboard, cosy-warm over the calorifier, but there was clearly another something going on when the top shelf went in high, high enough to accommodate a five-gallon barrel with an airlock on the shelf below. And really, who needs more than one shelf to store linen? Maybe it’s this part of the country. With the handleba...
