Centennial Park: The Parthenon -. Chicago Transplants Exploring Nashville. Centennial Park: The Parthenon. June 16, 2016. Boy has it been hot and humid this week! Charlie comforting Henry as they cool off from the heat. The building itself is incredibly impressive. Built in 1897, the Parthenon served as part of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition and is a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. I asked Nick to quickly snap a picture before we headed inside to escape the heat. Immediately i...

Chicago Transplants Exploring Nashville. June 12, 2016. We’ve made it! We are Tennesseeans and we couldn’t be happier! There were bumps along the road (not literal bumps, luckily) but we made it none the less. Sure our apartment wasn’t what we expected, and we were on the wrong floor, in the wrong building, with more spiders than we know what to do with (definitely a story for another day), but WE MADE IT! This was the first road trip for the boys and they did so well! My adorable co-pilot, Charlie.

Nashville Newbies
Saturday, June 9, 2012. Baby Judah was so alert and active, and it was quite surreal to see my best friend as a momma. Both Jenny and Lindsay are naturals! I also got the privilege of going to an ultrasound for another one of my best friends, Sarah. It's such a amazing miracle to see that precious baby boy flipping and turning in Sarah's belly. I'll be learning from the best when my turn comes! Of course I didn't take a lot of pictures with my real camera (why does that always happen? But here's a couple.

The Newell Family
Your place for all things Newell. Sunday, April 03, 2011. Here is the incredible playhouse that Jonathan's dad made for Ava and Lily. It will be a fun summer! Jonathan is turning Ava into his very own hockey fan - matching jersey's and all! Hope you all are enjoying this nice spring weather. Goodbye, blogging world! Tuesday, March 08, 2011. Now that Lily is crawling, Ava now has a play-mate all the time. She's in love with her sister and the feeling is. They both look suspicious to me. Normally I'm not a...
