Friday, April 23, 2010. Sam is now post-op day 2, and to see him you'd never guess it. He has an incision about 2 inches long on his lower back that hardly seems to hurt. . Wednesday, April 21, 2010. 9:40 Update- Good News! Dr Wellons just came out to tell us the tract stopped at the bone! The surgery is done, and he never needed to open the dura (the spinal cord cover). This is such good news! He told us there is a small incision. They'll keep Sam overnight in the hospital and likely let us go home tomorrow! Sam is still in the OR waking up from anesthesia. We can't wait to see him! April 21, 2010 at 9:55 AM. Monday, September 27, 2010. At 11 months of age, David is developing more and more of his personality. He is becoming more adventurous and definitely knows how to assert himself! He loves to swat your hands away when you come at him with a bottle or sippy cup (if he isn't thirsty, which is often, unfortunately) and loves to cry a high pitch scream when his daddy comes home if he doesn't pick him up immediately, if you don't feed him fast enough, or if Noah steals a toy from him :). What a joy David is!

Tuesday, May 10, 2011. When did my baby become such a big boy? Trying to climb, like his big brother. This is why I don't have any pictures of my boys together.I can never get both of them to cooperate at the same time. But look at the subtle squeeze of David's arm by Noah, in his attempts to get David to cooperate and only making matters worse. He reminds me alot of Uncle Chad as a boy in this picture, with his haircut. Trying to ride Noah's tricycle like a big boy. Giving big brother a hug :).

Friday, April 30, 2010. As of today, Noah can say ALL of his ABC's! Unfortunately, I didn't have the volume turned up loud enough during the recording for you to completely hear him, so definitely turn up the volume on your computer to view! I promise he says every letter! We probably spent 30 minutes in the swing this morning, while Noah sang his ABC's over and over and over again. I am so proud of him and I think he was too :).
