Every one of the 4892 (or so) trips I made up the stairs while moving in, I thought how nice the view was. No matter what this year holds, how long I stay in this apartment, or what life is like by Christmas, I decided my Christmas dishes were going to be a part of the family again. Links to this post. http://rachel365.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Narrating my world in photos, one day at a time. Tuesday, May 22, 2007. A few more of my days. This set is from last week. Like father, like daughter. On Mother's Day before we went out to dinner, Steve and Susannah helped me put a second coat of finish on the kitchen floor. We were in the midst of a last big push to get the house ready to show. Monday night we took a break from house tasks to go to Senior Honors Night. Here Liz is on stage getting one of her awards/scholarships. Monday, May 21, 2007.

http://rachel365.blogspot.com/2008/05/confirmation.html
Narrating my world in photos, one day at a time. Sunday, May 04, 2008. Today, Aaron was confirmed in the faith. May God grant him grace to hold fast to the promises he made. One of Steve's and my greatest joys is to watch our children plant their feet in the firm foundation of Christ. And can you believe the kid is almost as tall as Steve? Congratulations, Aaron, Steve, and Rachel! What a handsome young man! What a wonderful day for all of you! Omigosh, Rachel, YOU'RE BACK! View my complete profile.

Ahh the open road, the Holovaty mini-van, sunflower seeds left over from the last trip, stale water and great conversation. In His Service: Citybuilders. Life as a missionary citybuilder for Christ and His People of Praise. Wednesday, April 2, 2008. After the kids go home we get ready for the neighborhood dinner. Which has been a huge success. We have some regulars, and everyone who comes is really learning a lot. We are currently learning the Our Father line by line. Today's meal is being cooked by Patti Deacon, Cathy Grill, and Nicky Howell(spelling? I'm looking forward to it, gotta go. Having a distance jump competition).
