So a few months before Manda's birthday, she started seeing World Wildlife Fund's commercials telling her that all the tigers are dying! We need to save a tiger, mom! Or there won't be any left! We need to save at least one, because then that one can have babies, and then there will still be tigers.". I love that the certificate says that she adopted a "tiger family." She's pretty proud. So I called Jen to see if she could take pictures of my kids the next time I go up north for school, and she was booked with a wedding that day, BUT it turned out she was going to be in St. George on vacation the next week! So the kids ditched school for a day and we had a simply lovely day in St. George doing photos, checking out the visitors center, and hanging out with Jen and her kids at the park.
