Here are quite a few pictures that speak for themselves. We had an amazing week, and enjoyed our family, the lake, and the many toys available! Natalie, Nicole and Merrily took an Amtrak train to Colorado to visit with Keir and Lindsay for Lindsay's and Alli's birthday. Tiffany and Don were there too. Saturday, January 8, 2011. The biggest tubes are now gone! Conner just had his two chest drain tubes removed. They just gave little versed (so he would relax and lay on the table, and hopefully not remember the experience) and morphine (for the pain) and yanked. Really. His surgeon came in during the procedure, and kept instructing the nurse practitioners to pull it out FAST. I have since been told that the speed is needed to keep air from getting in- very important! January 8, 2011 at 11:18 PM.

Sunday, March 28, 2010. After dinner we moved on to presents. We made the mistake of having the presents in sight during dinner, and needless to say, Allie did not eat much of her dinner. She kept pointing and saying, "presents, presents, presents." Make sure to click on the photos and really look at her expressions. She was so excited about EVERY gift.
