Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Nate and Lindsey Visit. Jake's best-friend, who also happens to be his brother, was in town with his family this past week. Jake took the week off work and we were able to get together a few times, along with Grandpa Ron and Grandma Vickie! Saturday, when Nate got into town, everyone headed out to the Scottish Games at Thanksgiving Point! Afterward we hit up The Wild Zucchini in American Fork (think Italian Cafe Rio! We'll definitely be going back again. Maggie sure loves Grandpa!

Monday, August 24, 2015. The house is SO clean and SO quiet and I'm not sure I like it! School started and the kids were excited for a new year (okay, if I'm totally being honest, we didn't want school to start but we're trying to have good attitudes)! Their neighborhood buddies who are also in their class! As has been tradition so far, we all hung out until the bell rang! Thursday, February 26, 2015. Jake and I have been competing in some "health games" that started January 5th and ended 6 weeks later (the middle of February). I'm happy and proud to report that we both won prizes! It was neck and neck at the end but we managed to pull through and win! Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Our DIY Remodel, Part 8. In addition to the kitchen, we've been addressing the serious sheetrock issues. These are holes where the wall surrounding our old stairs used to be. Pretty, ain't it? This would be tons of insullation falling through them! Now my ceilings look like this! Monday, October 27, 2014. We attended our ward's Trunk-Or-Treat. We had LOTS of fun eating soup and trunk-or-treating! Jake decided to deck out the van and he didn't disappoint. Great fun had by all! Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Our DIY Remodel - Part 11. We have flooring, folks! It no longer feels like we are living in a construction zone! The dust is quickly fading and we are going shoeless.finally, and just in time for summer! Like everything, Jake did a great job installing it (and a huge shout out to Mike and Ron too! Monday, December 22, 2014. Here's the Christmas-card-worthy photo, taken the Sunday before Christmas. Here's Jake's oh-my-heck-how-did-I-get-5-kids photo. And here's how we normally are - CRAZY - photo. This year, for Christmas Eve, we went to a Protestant Candlelight service with our neighbors. We had a great time! Afterward we hit up Golden Corral with my mom and dad then headed home to get ready for Santa! We opened our special "one gift" and low and behold, everyone got PJ's! Damon got a marble run.

Monday, September 29, 2014. My Margaret turned 5! Holy smokes, where did the time go? She woke up to our traditional bedroom full of balloons. She loved it! This was a fun one. The goal is to do this for all the birthdays so the WHOLE neighborhood knows! Since her birthday fell on Sunday this year, Saturday afternoon/evening (yes, we were there pretty much all day) we went to Jungle Jim's, per her request. All the kids had a ball and were very happy with her choice of birthday outing! And we LOVE her!

Thursday, May 14, 2015. Jake got me this rockin' pin for Mother's Day. I wore it to church and everything! Saturday, June 27, 2015. Another trip up to Grandpa's cabin! My kids better grow up with great memories of this place because it's no small effort to go up there with all of them! Elsa screamed bloody murder in the middle of the night while we were there. Made for an exhausting next day but good thing not much was on the agenda. Damon made himself right at home.
