Billy Joel's video "River of Dreams" was filmed on the same part of the Connecticut River that we travel on with our boat. This steel wall and building are seen briefly (2:44). This is the same ferry the children were riding on (2:23).

365 Days of Photo Fun. Saturday, March 31, 2007. Day 25 - March 29th. This area is known for Smithville Lake - a 7000 acre lake that is beautifully maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers! This is the entrance to one of the parks - it is literally RIGHT outside the entrance to my subdivision. We walk down to the lake when the weather is warm. Gorgeous trees. :).
