Teaching in Peru

Monday, March 17, 2014. Greeting students at the entrance to MCS is my favorite morning duty! I love trying to learn or remember all the students' names as we exchange a "Good morning! When they walk in. It's also sweet to watch parents hug and kiss their little ones and send them through the gate. Many of the preschool students even greet me with a Peruvian kiss on the cheek. And before he could even set down his lunch box, his friend Nicholas kneeled down and piped, "I'll do it! A few prayer requests:.

Teaching in Peru: At the Movies

http://natalieteachperu.blogspot.com/2012/04/at-movies.html

Sunday, April 8, 2012. My students are so creative, and I have enjoyed seeing the natural leadership abilities that some of them have! Going to the movies with them also provided a fun atmosphere to be a little bit more relaxed with my students, and a great opportunity to connect with several of their parents. Teaching in Peru: July 2011

http://natalieteachperu.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Sunday, July 10, 2011. One for the One! There are many thing that I love about teaching at MCS, but one of my favorite things at school has definitely been being able to teach volleyball! It really is a blessing that God allows us to use the things we love as a ministry. Each age group has their own set of joys and challenges, but I've enjoyed watching all of these students improve their volleyball skills and learning to work together and encourage each other with good sportsmanship! Of course we can't e...

Teaching in Peru: MCS Science Fair 2012

http://natalieteachperu.blogspot.com/2012/10/mcs-science-fair-2012.html

Monday, October 15, 2012. MCS Science Fair 2012. I loved seeing the students' projects after their months of hard work! It was too hard to pick just a few pictures, so here are quite a few from the day. Filippo (5th) did a great project testing his dog's reflexes to touch! Joaquín (5th) tested which fruits ruin gelatin,. And he even brought spoons so we could taste it :). Natalia (6th) did an experiment about the effects of a Tsunami. Clemente (9th) researched and tested the difference between. Conner (5...

Teaching in Peru: God at Work: Part II

http://natalieteachperu.blogspot.com/2012/09/god-at-work-part-ii.html

Wednesday, September 12, 2012. God at Work: Part II. Thanks for all those who were praying for my conversation with Andrea Monday! God is faithful and hears our prayers. I was able to talk to Andrea Monday morning. She told me how she thought she was saved, but she had been reading 1 John. And she realized that she has sin in her life. She explained that according to the Bible she was perdida. Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates. A brother or sister is still in the darkness. Justification is a...

http://justaboringmother.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Just a Boring Mother. Thursday, February 24, 2011. Seeking and Not finding. Oh did I mention I had an ear infection, went to the doctor got medicine and my ear is not better but I have to wait 'til tomorrow to go pay another co-pay at the docs office to get treated again. I also can't hear very well anymore and things are quite fuzzy in my ear. Ezra has grown a ton and is now 11.5 months old, picks up his own food to eat, and has 4 teeth. Wow, how quickly he has grown! Just a Boring Mother.

I'm pretty excited about it and I know that I won't be able to run all of it. Too bad! It was fun making it and so easy! Just a Boring Mother. PBJ’s F...

Posted by natalietedder under Life. The thought of initially canceling our cable made us both a little nervous. I have no idea why. 8221; and I think secretly we hoped they’d show up the next day with a magical fix for the problems plaguing our service.
