http://zambianadoption.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 25, 2009. I have a good friend whom I also work with - Lalit. He is totally dreamy and today he looked up exactly how far it is to Addis. 11, 479 Kilometers to Addis. We love Amara and would travel to the moon and back for her. 11 479 kilometers is not that far! Posted by Our baby Zambia. Friday, February 20, 2009. Can I ask you all. What is "Here from LFCA". I am getting wonderfully thoughtful comments to my last post saying. Thanks everyone for the clarity! Posted by Our baby Zambia.

Tuesday, November 25, 2008. This is why I love blogging. Meanwhile, we have been looking for all the positives that the choice to switch to Ethiopia brings because we want to fall in love with this country and culture and our decision. Here is a list of things we have come up with:. Cheaper - is is much cheaper to fly and stay in Ethiopia than it is Zambia. Good news (hence the new truck). The wait is longer but the program is STABLE - JUST LIKE ME - STABLE. We can take some time for ourselves - people k...

To the Moon and Back: March 2009

Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Today I mourn with the rest of the world for a lady whom I never met and who touched my life in more ways than one. I read of her in "There's no me without you" by Melissa Faye Green. She has inspired and loved and been loved and she will never be forgotten, by me or any of the children she touched. Be peaceful sweet warrior. Mrs. Haregewoin. You will be missed and thank you! Posted by Our baby Zambia. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Current Time in Addis - What's She Doing Now?

Thursday, December 17, 2009. As if it was me. Throughout this two year long process I have read and reread several accounts, on different blogs by different adoptive parents, of how the day of “the call” went down. Although each family is different, each story is different; they are all made of the same recipe. The stories usually start out with “I was at work”. 8220;My husband was away on business.”. 8220;I was out to lunch and my cell phone rang and I was nowhere near a computer.”. 8217;t mean that at ...

To the Moon and Back: May 2009
http://zambianadoption.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. At four months of waiting we think that Amara is probably started and has a little heartbeat right now. Right now, on the other side of the world, our little baby's heart is beating. She is hanging out in her mother's belly and doesn't know that she will have two mother's yet. She doesn't know that she will have two countries and so much love that she won't know what to do with. We love her and can't wait to discover who she is. Waiting patiently (for now).
