Friday, June 11, 2010. Family Night at VBS- Our theme was Saddle Ridge Ranch, thus the cowboy attire. Ava on stage singing at Family Night. Cowboy Noah at Family Night. Posing on the saddle. There was a real horse named Sonic that came to VBS and the kids were encouraged to bring him something to eat. Here's Ava offering Sonic the half-eaten apple she brought for him. Somebody was a little bit sad to be moving out of the condo and wanted me to take pictures of it so he would remember it. this picture just makes me laugh. Thursday, April 15, 2010. Monday, June 28, 2010. Justin and Lisa Holcomb. This year we took our youth group to Myrtle Beach, SC for our beach week! We dropped the girls off at Justin's parents and Justin and I headed up a little early to enjoy a day at the beach ourselves and get all set up for the students to arrive. It rained the whole time we had before students, which was God's way of telling us to rest, I guess. Oh well! This was a huge defining moment in the life of our youth group! We had great weather and great fun!
