Sunday, March 22, 2015. The Last 2 Months. Well it's been a while, blog world. I have been a hermit this winter in blogging and in socializing. Meanwhile winter finally arrived in Virginia. We had two snow days and lots of cancelled piano lessons. It has been quite eventful, but I am happy to say that spring is on it's way! We can almost taste it! The daffodils have bloomed and my tulips are growing nicely. She bounces on everything, including us (which is not so fun all the time). I love this face!

Thursday, May 7, 2015. So, Luke finally got a friend birthday party this year. He was super excited about it. It was ninja turtle themed (again! And Violet and I had fun planning it. And by planning it I mean sending an email three days in advance to invite kids from the ward over one Friday morning :). Okay, we did a little more than that. But the actual day of his birthday featured a family outing to Moonie's for dinner and snow cones, then some birthday cake and presents at home. Jake and Ashley Miller.

Sunday, April 13, 2014. Spring and Lovely Sunday Afternoons. We have proof in the corner of our little patio. Our tulips have bloomed and they are beautiful! Here are a few pictures I got a few days ago. We are working on getting a house squared away in Charlottesville. It is quite a task, seeing as we are clear across the country, but we are hoping for the best. Hopefully, this week we will finally have something. Of course, Eva wanted to be in on the fun. Morgan is such a good daddy!

Lyons Den: Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday, April 5, 2015. Today was Eva's first Easter egg hunt. We put all our eggs in places she could find them and then let her pick them all up. We improvised an basket by using the holder for our bocce ball set. It worked pretty well actually. Eva was very thorough, she picked up ever egg, shook it (to make sure there was something inside) and then placed in the basket. Discovering what is actually inside the eggs. Needless to say, all she has wanted to eat today is chocolate. Whoops. :).
