Thomas, Kristin and Mason. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Mason is 6 weeks now and has been starting to react to mom and dad on a regular basis. He loves to smile and talk to us. Roasted Green Beans with Candied walnuts. 1 lb green beans, stemmed ends snapped off (yellow works too! 1/2 medium yellow or red onion cut into thin small wedges. Salt and pepper to taste (1/4-1/2 tsp.). 1 Tbs olive oil. 1 Tbs balsamic vinegar. 1 tsp minced fresh thyme. 1 tsp minced fresh garlic. 1/3 cup chopped candied walnuts. Posted by Kristin Rose. He liked knocking on the door and then the neighbors filling his bucket with all sorts of yummy treats. After the two neighbors houses it was such nice weather we sat outside while Mason enjoyed his sucker and we passed out Candy to the neighbor kids. My little monkey was very good! Thomas, Kristin and Mason. Wednesday, September 8, 2010. So back to the traffic-yuck! The flight could not have been better. Mason was the best baby EVER! Mason again was wonderful. He sat in his seat playing with toys and then fell asleep the last 30 minutes of the 1 hour ride. Hopefully one of these places will work out. Please pray for us that we will find a safe place within our budget to live. We love all of you and will keep you updated as our journey/adventure continues. Kristin, Thomas, and Mason.

I only had one receiving blanket to swaddle Mason in so I decided I needed a couple more. My mom and I went to the fabric store and picked out some material and then today I did my first sewing project all on my own! I am very happy with the way they turned out. B&Bs/pensions are cheap and lovely places to stay. Try the food, not the water. Have extra batteries on hand. Talk with the locals. Talk with the foreigners. Always close your tent when heading out for a while. If you see somewhere you’d like to go from a train window (regardless of plans), just get off. Last Day in Paris.

Nate has loved racing horses to say the least, but when the time came this spring he decided he doesn't want to hurt that bad anymore.so he walked away. I can't say that I blame him. He would ride one day and recover the next 10 just to do it all over again! I'm so thankful for all of the injury free years that we had.and for all of the friends we gained! I look forward to enjoying the races with Nate at my side! It's a Hard Knock Life".
