Thursday, April 30, 2015. Just a walk in the park. Topeka isn't the first destination most people would think of when it comes to "relaxation." My all accounts, it's a dirty, dated town filled with punks and criminals. I mean, politicians. That being said, last year we discovered the Ted Ensley Gardens. Saturday, May 2, 2015. Jack, the runner (part 2). Last fall, Jack jumped at the chance to join his school's running club. It gave him a chance to get out and exercise.and chat with his friends. I didn't know what we expected for his first time out at a 5K, especially since it was packed with people. He ended up finishing the 5K in one hour and 20 minutes. We kept encouraging him that it didn't matter when he finished, as long as did finish. Just go out there and run. Here is his entire running club:.

Life, right now. Sunday, March 30, 2014. Spring Break 2014 (Monterey to Seattle). We had quite the amazing spring break trip this year! We headed up to Washington for a full week and spent time visiting with my brother's family. Day one we drove up the beautiful Columbia river gorge. First stop: Multnomah Falls.
