Monday, September 10, 2012. Our Coasten boy turned 4 on July, 23 2012. I asked him a few months back what kind of party he wanted this year and right away he told me that he wanted a "Pirate Party". So A Pirate Party it was! Coast was Uber excited to get into his costume, as soon as he woke up the morning of his birthday and party. I must say that he is one dashing little Pirate. Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE throwing a party. I love every last detail! My little Pirate family. To a "T" this one.

Thursday, June 5, 2014. Fun in the hot Arizona sun. We went to Schnepf Farms to pick peaches because it was surprisingly peach season there. Lunch at the Olive Mill, with every kind of olive oil you could think of including chocolate. Spent a lot of time at the pool with Parker, at the Bradshaws. We went to Parker's last Orchestra Performance! The new Gilbert Temple is absolutely Beautiful, but was closed when we went, which was fine since I brought Jake's old Temple recommend anyways.

Monday, March 24, 2014. This may be a long post, but I want to be able to go back and reread the details. I have been extremely fortunate to not experience the death of someone close to me. My sister died when she was about 1 year old, but it was before I was born. My dad's father passed away a little over a week ago and I knew the time would come because he was 87 and his health was deteriorating, but it was much harder than I had anticipated. This is my favorite picture of him when he was younger.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010. So we went to St. George where we stayed with Bret, David's friend from scout camp, and his wife Jess. I was a little nervous for this break however, hearing about heights and how high we'd be rappelling. but i'll get more into that in a little bit. While we were there we had one canyoneering adventure, 5 hikes, went crawdaddin', and camped out. all in two days! We definately picked the right tour guide, we still didn't get through everything on Bret's list of fun stuff to do!

Sunday, May 15, 2011. The Race for the cure is always so fun! This year was great weather and the kids were actually in good moods! I am an emotional person so EVERY year when I see how many people come to support a great cause it tugs at my heartstrings. I get so emotional and am so thankful that my grandma is a survivor! Our Adventures
July 1 - 7 Corrie came to town. Obviously, I was thrilled when she told me she was going to visit. Also, the two nights of fireworks were mind blowing. They had fireworks shooting from helicopters, ground, and the lake all perfectly choreographed to music. We were able to have our own makeshift 4th of July celebration a few days early.
