This became more than just a mistake by a police officer. This is another reminder that even today, racism still exists. Then out of the blue he asked me, “Did you do it? I can imagine how confused I suddenly looked. 8220;Because that would be a real asshole move.” He continued. How could he just ask that?

It’s been great to volunteer at the HOPE school for children every week, and I look forward to meet the different fair trade member organizations in the coming weeks to interview local women whose lives have been changed by fair trade employment.
