Pursuing a Godly life that is peaceful and healthy. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Review - Firegirl by Tony Abbott. I say this book is a MUST read! I loved this book because it excites me how kids could see Tom's character handling these situations and can put themselves in his place. Reading this book with a classroom or with kids in the home could open up many doors to the thoughts and feelings that the kids (and adults) are having about those that are different than others. Pursuing a Godly life that is peaceful and healthy. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. The power went off for a little over an hour Monday night so we spent the time playing scrabble by candlelight. It was fun to slow down and inevitably you end up with a memorable evening. John won, but we were pretty proud of the words we came up with. We are preparing to challenge you. You know who you are. Have a great day, and maybe your power will go out tonight. Posted by Vandy's Girl. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Pursuing a Godly life that is peaceful and healthy. Tuesday, March 18, 2008. A week ago I began undertaking the process of learning to run! This process entails having good balance and being able to jump. Today my therapist gave me a jump rope and I couldn't even try to jump over it! I did jump without holding on to anything BUT the jump rope. We said that this is a good "jump" forward. Posted by Vandy's Girl. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
