I try to live a hopeful life. Maybe to combat the fear – a sort of self preservation. Somedays I’m better at it than others. Today seems to be a better day. It occured to me this morning that the recipes for fear and hope share a common ingredient: The Unknown. The new business Micah and I started, Brake Bread.

It's made out of a sage green denim, has a clear vinyl front for viewing and accessing the wheel, an opening at the bottom for charging, and the ribbon tab on top (embroidered with my machine's leafy motif) has a velcro closure. Then I used an old scrap of flannel and my glue gun to cover it. Much more thematic than the green upholstery foam.
