Thursday, July 23, 2015. 2015 Happy Father's Day! Sam is such a loving, involved, fun, and committed father. There is nothing he'd rather do than spend a day with Jenna. He has been taking her on little daddy daughter dates since she could talk, and is always thinking of ways to make her happy. When I asked Jenna what she wanted to make for Sam for Father's Day, she immediately said, "An astronaut helmet". So we got the paper mache out an astronaut helmet she made. Thursday, August 13, 2015. Jenna has been into babies (and, of course, interesting outfits). We got out her newborn bins and she has been having a ball. We continue to love our long mornings, and are starting to get to eat breakfast outside with the weather cooling down a bit. Sam goes in around 9 and we love our lazy mornings together. Jenna will do art projects for hours. Jenna continues to think up brilliant ideas, like making floaties for George so that he can swim too. Our garden is in full bloom...

Friday, January 30, 2015. For Sam's birthday, he took off from work early because he wanted to spend the afternoon of installing our sprinklers. Monday, March 2, 2015. On Monday I heard Jenna wake up sand squeal, "It's snowing! Sure enough, when I went up to get her she showed me lots of snow covering our entire yard. Monday, November 17, 2014. Our landscapers started the backyard job but didn't quite finish. had had a couple weeks with this mountain and boulders galore in our backyard. Jenna (and occasionally Sam) have loved it. Sam had to go to Vegas for meetings, which means I got a girls night with this cutie. Jenna is always building some sort of princess castle. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Jenna's mind is preoccupied with mermaids and bug land (she built it in our garden area - last night she had me get her lemons and grapefruit to squeeze fresh juice for her black buggies).
