Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I know it has been a while since we last blogged! Things have been kind of crazy and exciting on our end the last couple months. Here's a brief synopsis of all the fun things we've been doing! December: I completed my student teaching the first week in December and graduated with my masters mid-month. It was a really fun day and I love all of my family (and future family members) that were there to support me! All 5 of the Nelson siblings were in town for Christmas this year!

Friday, October 29, 2010. New Family in Armenia. So this is where things get interesting. Here is brief history that Mkrtich sent me. This is just a part of legend about Mkrtich Asatryan, who survived genoside, Stalin repression, world war 2, had 14 children in different parts of world. As I am the only nephew of Mkrtich Assaturian (or Mike Assaturian) who was named after him I continue the search. I contacted a lot of people in my life, but all in vain. This is my dad's high school graduation picture.
