Thoughts of Nate's Dad: What will Nate get into next

http://natesdaddyblog.blogspot.com/2010/04/what-will-nate-get-into-next.html

Monday, April 12, 2010. What will Nate get into next. For the time being that bottle will no longer be within Nate's reach. I'm sure I could use some glue to keep the lid on any only have access through the pump. Actually some loctite might work really well on items like this. Just strong enough that Nate couldn't open, but if you really needed to get into it you could with a little force. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thoughts of Nate's Dad. Thoughts of Nate's Dad: Climbing and cruising

http://natesdaddyblog.blogspot.com/2010/04/climbing-and-cruising.html

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Over the last week Nate has gone from trying to pull-up to a standing position on everything to pulling-up and then trying to climb up on things and doing some cruising. I'm thinking he would be doing more cruising if we weren't in a rather sparsely decorated apartment. Since so much of our stuff is in storage he just doesn't have as many items to grab on to. April 21, 2010 at 2:51 PM. Once he starts walking, youll probably be saying the word No a whole lot more. :). By: Väter ...

http://natesdaddyblog.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 29, 2010. Nate is now one day shy of 7 months. It has been a great ride and the next few months should be pretty exciting as Nate continues to grow. Thursday, January 28, 2010. The bumbo was a gift from friends (Thanks Trey and Julie) and it has worked out very well and we are a little sad to have to put it away. Sunday, January 17, 2010. Nate in his Johnny Jump Up. Thursday, January 14, 2010. Nate likes going backward. Monday, January 11, 2010. No More College Football. I'm guessing this...

An Alphabet for ...: Oatmeal: S is for Soy Sauce

http://analphabetfor.blogspot.com/2010/11/oatmeal-s-is-for-soy-sauce.html

An Alphabet for . Random ABCs about me. Sunday, November 7, 2010. Oatmeal: S is for Soy Sauce. S is for Soy Sauce. Never would I have thought to try steel cut oats with scallions and soy sauce. Initially, it was odd. Then addictive. S is for Squash. In a pinch, purred squash can fill in for pumpkin. S is for Sweet Potato. Never tried this but am tempted to try on the rare occasion there is leftover sweet potato in the fridge. S is for Salt. S is for Sugar. Not always necessary for flavor.

http://analphabetfor.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

An Alphabet for . Random ABCs about me. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Yesterday, after writing my "I" post, the camera broke. My husband attempted to fix it, but it remains in limbo. Actually, it's in pieces on the coffee table covered by a sheet of paper that reads "DO NOT TOUCH." (I've noticed engineers and former engineers only write in all caps.). So, no J and no K because I won't have a photo for either post. L is for the Little Mermaid. Not the Disney version, but the true Hans Christian Andersen.

An Alphabet for . Random ABCs about me. Thursday, December 17, 2009. MFK Fisher: Eggs in Hell. E is for Eggs in Hell. Yes, I skipped D (Date Delight). I'm working on scaling down the recipe since my husband told me he does not like dates. Anyway: Eggs in Hell. Since that's what we had in the house. Sigh He's asleep now and I was tempted to pour Irish Cream over chocolate ice cream for dessert but settled for a peanut butter Popsicle and a banana Popsicle. Links to this post. An Alphabet for . Random ABCs about me. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Oatmeal: Y is for Yogurt. Y is for Yogurt. Honestly, I only use yogurt when there isn't any milk. It's good in a granola parfait with fruit- not so good mixed into hot oatmeal where it leaves a bad aftertaste. Y is for Yeast. Nutritional yeast is supposed to taste cheesy. I keep meaning to purchase some to see if my husband will be tricked by it on popcorn- thinking I made cheese popcorn. So, I have never tried it in oatmeal.

Nate's Custom Charters

Fishing, Snorkeling, Beach Hopping, Dolphin Adventures. Friday, November 20, 2009. Here is some footage from today's snorkeling adventure with a newly wed couple by the name of Rob and Barbara McNulty. The water was beautiful this morning; clear as glass and perfect for seeing ocean creatures of all sorts. Many types of fish were spotted including Barracudas, the occasional sea turtle, and some starfish. The McNulty's had a truly terrific time exploring these Caribbean habitats. Nate's Deli | Order Delivery & Pickup Online

Dave Smith started Nate’s Deli in 1959 with only 6 tables and a desire to make the best smoked meat sandwiches anyone would ever taste. The small restaurant made an instant name for itself. People such as Liberace, Paul Anka, Rich Little and Pierre Trudeau visited regularly to indulge in Nate’s exotic and ethnic food. In 2005, David Smith opened Nate’s Express, a smaller version of the original Nate’s on Rideau. Serving the same famous smoked meat and catering to the surrounding businesses.
