Nathan and Leslie family. Saturday, June 27, 2015. We are off to our annual Blake Island canoe trip. There was rough waters on the way to the Island. It took us over an hour to get there which is very unusual. Sadie bought her own Cheez it's. And Elijah refused to let her have any once he got the box in his hands. Elijah: Are we going to start the fire? Me: No we can't. Elijah: Yes we can see (pointing to the fire pit) its right here. Me: Yeah you can go explain that to the ranger. Stuck in the sand.

Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Post Transplant Day 84. Things were going pretty well. But last week at her appointment on Wednesday, we found out her potassium was really high. According to the Nurse Practitioner it was "scary" high. The doctor said they were in a "minor" panic! High potassium can lead to heart arrythmia which can potentially be fatal. Not something to be taken lightly! The one can cause low blood pressure so we have to watch for that. She was released from the hospital on Friday.
