The weblog of Ian and Lauren McLaren. About the mclaren’s. August 13th, 2005. That was the day that Lauren and I got married, and while it kind of was, I’m not prepared to say that it was the happiest day of my life, because every day that I have the privilege of being Lauren’s husband is a blessing. And it really didn’t take me very long to realize that I wanted to be her husband, either. I remember one letter in particular where I expressed to Lauren that I could not imagine my life without her. Our fi...

Sunday, July 30, 2006. 7 messages in 5 days. I was rather fearful going into it all, but I felt that everything went well, probably because so many of you were praying. Thanks so much for your prayers and support, because if not for all of you, there probably would've been more flames from the crash and burn. Posted by Kev Chen @ 11:32 PM. Thursday, July 27, 2006. Posted by Kev Chen @ 3:35 PM. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. And to top it all off, there was a child sitting across the aisle with his mother who ...

The weblog of Ian and Lauren McLaren. About the mclaren’s. It’s hard to beat the system when you’re standing at a distance …. Bought us the new John Mayer. CD for Christmas, and after multiple listens, I am here to offer up a brief review of this tremendous album. I have been a fan ever since I saw John Mayer on the Grammy’s a few years ago. I quickly went out and picked up. And I did not hesitate to pick up his sophmore album,. Is, to me, by far his best work to date. The Heart of Life. In the light of ...

Places I have Paid to Pee. Thursday, June 28, 2007. Zurich (it was 2$ in the train station but only 50 outside in a private toilet building/box thing, seriously, it even self cleaned.). Salzburg (50 cents and they unlock the stall for you). Munich (can't remember how much, maybe 50cents). Trains are free, so if you can hold it, you can just pee on the train.but sometimes you just can't wait. Nathan and I figure we've spent about 7-8Euro so far just to pee. Peeing is expensive in Europe.

Older Lady: Well, you nurses should be in bed too, you know. Me: I couldn't agree more. Nurse: Hi, this is Rachel, she is orientating, she is going to be removing your art line. Me: Can you spell world?

Wednesday, May 31, 2006. My mom just picked up my dress. For my sister's wedding. PS The link shows the dress as green, but you change the colour to show black, that's the colour of my dress. And the accent colour is white, but you can't change the pink. I tried :(. Anyway, hope you like it! Posted by Rachel Pede @ 11:00 PM. On my way to work there was a goose crossing the road and I couldn't help but laugh. I'm thinking about Jaci Robinson today. In two months, my sister will be married. At the beginnin...

Baby It's Cold Inside. Tuesday, October 25, 2005. It's raining outside. Still. And it's absolutely freezing. Right now I am sitting with many layers of clothing, and surrounded in my electric blanket in a feeble attempt to stay warm. Normally when you come out of the rain after a long hard day, you donâ t expect the inside of your house to be colder than the outside. Right now, in our house it is 580Fâ. My room is slightly separated from the rest of the girls and so during the stressful weeks of school I...
