I got a surprise yesterday when the doorbell rang at around 5:45pm. Bruce is gone on Mondays at school until about 9:00pm, so this was clearly either someone for me, or someone who doesn't know Bruce's schedule. Bruce and I got a bit of a shock today when we kissed. No, really.we literally shocked each others lips. It hurt a little, but made us both laugh. Never knew that could happen. We had a few bouts of torrential rain today. It was kind of awesome listening to it and the thunder, and even better running through it this afternoon. Rain is good for the soul. What is your verdict? I got my first-ever jury summons the other day. With this aspect of things anyway. We used lemons as part of our wedding decor.

Bruce and I are cutting out sweets and added refined sugar from our diets for the month of May. I have gone sugar-free before, so I'm not overly concerned about the shift. Little Miss Argyle Socks. We've been pretty busy around here lately. I made a quilt. G and I made sugar cookies (don't judge - it was our first time trying the "flooding" technique.not to mention I get bored after decorating about two sugar cookies). We made a nightlight. I grew a baby. And four days after that picture gave birth to said baby (best workout EVER, if you wanted to know). And then I needed something else to do, so I made this wreath.
