Based on PDFs they gave me, I was able to create something beautiful for them. Choosing WordPress as a platform. Elegance for all browsers. Fashion Index Site on a PC. Fashion Index Site on iPhone. The result is a responsive website that displays differently for mobile browsers than for larger screens, resulting in the best of both worlds.

Story Tracker Web Application. This project was really one of my favorites because it had an immediate positive impact on people’s lives. Each student in the SAM school had a home room teacher. But with all the things that had to get done, sometimes teachers would not have time to report important student stories to the homeroom teacher. Step 1: Choose a student. This is the page a teacher is sent to after logging in. They can quickly select the student they wish to write about. Step 2: Writing the story.

The Austin Community College (ACC) Adult Basic Education Department website serves adults who struggle with reading, writing, and math. Unfortunately their website used very large words, departmental jargon, and was not accessible. Here is the homepage before and after the site redesign:. The department serves mostly students who are learning English or studying to pass the GED test. Both groups had trouble figuring out what the department offered and how to sign up. If you’ve ever played the nerf game “ Assassins. 8220;, you know is a game that can take over your life for a few weeks. Organizing it and managing it can be even more intense than playing! Coldtowne Theater was interested in sponsoring a game as a mixer for local improvisers to meet each other and wanted a website to help. This page showed who was “alive” in the game. Vintage City Maps Ecommerce Site. Creating the OSCommerce Site. OSCommerce is an opensource ecommerce platform that’s been around nearly 14 years so it has lots of plugin features, one of which is using affordable payment gateways that integrate with Quickbooks. This is why we made the choice. Unfortunately, Hal’s previous site had already disappeared by the time I came onboard so I had no pre-existing files or text to work with. Even so I was able to get the site up and working in under a week.
