Whoop Scoop: Double standard
http://whoopscoop.blogspot.com/2013/09/double-standard.html
Tuesday, September 3, 2013. I disappear for a month and then come back with a rant. Please forgive me! I know it is obvious, but really? Pictures of your scantily clad sons doing muscle poses on a beach. However, even without the pictures, the article dances dangerously close to the line of "men are. Meatheads with no self control" and "women are evil temptresses so no man is guilty in his own discretions". We are obviously very visual, it's just that society isn't trying to sell us men. How many teenage...

When you start to give yours elf value for the real things rather than the things the world would judge you for, you start to notice those things less. I hear negative self talk from many (not all! Friday, June 7, 2013. This is less hard than I thought it would be. That's what she said! Seriously, though. I have had many friends suggest that I do a blog about sex. Healthy sex with your spouse. Talking to your kids about sex. Healing from sexual abuse. Objectification of men and women in the media. Healthy body image and its' effects on a sexual relationship. Alright, what do you want to know about sex? Email me at daisyzombie@gmail.com. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What she should have said.

Thursday, May 30, 2013. 2013 Trip to Moab. I went on a trip to Moab with Logan May 16-19. It was a pretty amazing experience that I will not soon forget. I will let the pictures do most of the story telling. These first group of photos are from our campsite. We camped at one of the Kane Creek campsites. Part of Wall Street, the Colorado River is just behind those Bushes. More of Wall Street looking East. And it was equipped with some sport climbs so we would spend the evenings climbing. This group of pic...

Wednesday, February 20, 2013. How to heal a sprained ankle. Last Tuesday, or actually the one before this last one (Feb 12, 2013), I sprained my ankle playing intramural basketball with the pharmacy team. I am pretty sure it is the worst sprain I have ever had, and I am no stranger to sprained ankles. The doc told me it was a level three sprain with an upper ankle sprain also. How to heal sprained ankles:. RICE is an acronym (why is the US notorious for acronyms? Edit: It has almost been 3 weeks and I am...

Sunday, January 27, 2013. Playing in the snow! Well it snowed last night and it is cold, but not as cold as it has been. We decided to suit up and give the snow a try. Mattix was not a fan but Vella has a good time. We couldn't get our snow to roll up into a ball very well, not quite warm enough. We made makeshift snowshoes/boots out of grocery bags. Mattix wouldn't keep his gloves on, probably a part of his misery. Momma and boy wonder with a huge snowball. You have to eat fresh snow. And I said what?
