It is the annual fund raiser for the Elgin Fire Department. There is a crawdad broil, a car show and they also have a carnival. Wiley is one of those kids that likes things a certain way and freaks out completely if it is not exactly as he wants it. For example, he does NOT like for his food to be "broken". Meaning that a ceral bar must stay intact during consumption, a bananna can not be split in half to be shared and most certainly do not cut his apples up into slices! A big boy bed update!

It was my nephew Grant's 6th birthday and we got to go see Mars Needs Moms 3D movie at the IMAX in Wichita! Wiley stayed zoned in the entire movie and I think that he really liked it. He didn't really wear the glasses for the movie so he was watching a blurry version, but he didn't seem to mind! It may be time for a twin. Monkey grip on the rails!

One thing I thought was funny was Wiley kept saying, "Momma's tire broke! Wiley and Van went to a birthday party with "extreme" animals! It was really cool and I think I had as much fun as they did. We took the boys to the Oklahoma State Fair two times over the past week. Yes.we are trying to make them love the expensive games, dangerous rides, and yummy unhealthy food as much as we do! Wiley was big enough this year to get to ride on the rides, which he loved! Van enjoyed just hanging out with the family. You can finally see Van's new teeth in this picture!

We went to Haunt the Zoo, Trunk or Treat at church, Trick or Treat at daycare and Dr. Duncan's house halloween night! It was crazy, but fun! There is entirely too much candy at my house right now and as you all know, I have no self-control when it comes to candy! Hopefully I can talk myself into throwing it away soon! My view from stand.
