Nach dem wir uns von rege und tom verabschiedet haben (was gar nicht so leicht war) fahren wir richtung sydney. Unser erster halt gilt mogo, einem richtig schönen dörfchen aus der goldgräber zeit. (mogo, wir denken viel an dich;-). Am 261.10 feieren wir in sydney den nationalfeiertag, unglaublich wie australier feiern können.

Wir verlassen la paz und wollen bis heute nacht in uyuni ankommen. für günstige 3 fränkli geht's 3 stunden richtung südwesten, nach oruro. da steigen wir in den zug um, aber nicht ohne uns vorher noch eineier-tomaten-sandwich zu besorgen lääääcker! Schon vom zug aus sehen wir zig flaningos. Das war noch, evor er uns seinen böög präsentierte - merci! Super stimmung bei den aguas thermales.

Monday, July 19, 2010. Escargot is suppose to be a delicacy but the snails here in Switzerland are safe from becoming someone's lunch. We have heard that snails here are protected and cannot be hurt, which might explain why you can occasionally find some pretty huge ones running around. or should I say, sliding along. Started off with a bowl of Oatmeal (cuz that’s what old people eat) then to Biel get a birthday present resized. then off to Morges for the Tulip festival. At the tulip festival we were the youngest people there by a couple of decades, so immediately Shelly was beginning to feel better about gaining another year.
