As evident from the list of references, this project has involved extensive research from throughout the United States and required access to a significant quantity of historical documentation. At this point, however, it is getting extremely difficult to uncover new historical reference material. Every so often I come across a portable radiation detector in a photograph and cannot identify it. I have found it is particularly difficult with the radiation detectors from the early Manhattan Project era. Can you identify this by the manufacturer, model number and date of development? If so, please send me an email with your comments. The only information I have is that it is a Survey Meter circa 1948. It looks like some type of electrometer with an eyepiece.
