So far the best things to happen recently within our limited horizons are:. Been listening to more Wooden Wand. Can't recommend 'James and the Quiet' enough. Although also 'Horus of the Horizon', re-issued on Great Pop Supplement. And he's not using that name anymore. And the Wand's made me go back and listen to Dylan again. The Magik Markers' LP Boss is still blowin' me away, has been for most of this year. Totally loving those Lee Renaldo productions. Flickin' between 'Green Blues' and 'Gettin' Gone'.

National Park preparing to come out of cave. This site is being redesigned (Oct 2012). There's talk of recording the triple album. No More Rides' was used in a movie. There's a Facebook page. There's a Bandcamp site. National Park, National Jazz Trio of Scotland Live in December. We'll be playing live on the 5th December at Viva Melodia in Cottiers, Glasgow with Bill Wells' National Jazz Trio of Scotland. Starts at 8.30. Free gig. Hopefully the first gig with the John/ Simon/ Gerry/ Eilidh lineup.
