Their time frame right now is looking like 10 weeks, so there has been a very large effort to put together events in his honor in hopes of finding him a match. Friday, April 23, 2010. The transplant itself will happen in June. We are so happy for her and her family; it's been a long road and we are glad that we contributed to her recovery. Hopefully this transplant will kick this nasty disease, and she can live a disease free life! We are hoping Jozlyn's story will inspire people in the Black and African American community to register to donate bone marrow to those in need. 86% of patients in this community DO NOT.
