Phat Vegan: Mexican-Style Corn
http://vegancomfortcooking.blogspot.com/2012/06/mexican-style-corn.html
Comfort Cooking Animal-free Style. Saturday, June 30, 2012. One my favorite snacks from traveling in Mexico (or from just living in Houston) is the dressed up corn in a bowl or on the cob. The vendor will smear on mayo, cheese, chili powder, salt and lime and folks gobble it up. As a vegan, I had to opt for no mayo and no cheese. So I took things into my own hands and made it at home. Desert Vegan: March 2008
http://desertvegan.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
People who love animals don't eat them. Monday, March 31, 2008. The thrilla of the grilla. I had a hankering for grilled veggies last night. That, and I had a bunch of produce from the farmers market that was about to turn bad. For the grilled cabbage, I removed the core from the head, then coated the entire thing in grapeseed oil, salt and pepper. For the filling, I sauteed some onions with a big hunk of Soyrizo. Turns out my little cabbage didn't require much cooking time at all, so I ended up with som...

Whole Food Ideas: Native Foods Cafe
http://wholefoodideas.blogspot.com/2011/07/native-foods-cafe.html
A collection of whole food, plant-based recipes and recommendations from just about everywhere. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Is one of my favorite vegan restaurants (after Sage and Flore). It's a great place for vegan comfort food. In addition to their comfort fare, they do offer healthier options like veggie bowls and salads. We usually don't order those because we eat healthy enough at home. Native Foods gives us a chance to splurge a little, perhaps a little too much. If you're not already convinced.).
