Anomalies at Danger Comics. Introducing The Beatitudes – Damien Funchess. I met Damien through a notice he placed on the bulletin board at Funkadelic Studios two years ago. He listed The Meters, James Brown. As his spiritual godfathers, and the music he was most interested in playing. Coincidentally those were big on my list, as well. After a few phone conversations, we convened at Funkadelic. And what an appropriately-named location for such an excursion! With bassist Craig Robison. Who has the funk!

Anomalies at Danger Comics. I haven’t done a post in a while, because of a word called ‘busy’. As in, “I’ve been…”. Now, I’ve taken on the advice of friends who want me to post more, but, “Keep it simple. Just one topic, rather than, like, a kajillion! So, in an effort to please and appease – here’s the first single topic post of my adult life, which began when I was… actually, I’m not there yet. Here’ a photo shared with me by my high school/college classmate Cherita Perkins Davis. Follow me on Twitter.

Anomalies at Danger Comics. I’ve written so many songs, it could make an aardvark vomit. I know, I’ve seen it happen and it wasn’t pretty. Of course, aardvarks are never pretty, but I digress…. The problem is, very few have heard these songs for they reside on a hard-drive (and a back-up drive) which I keep in a particularly dark part of the Dave Cave, because that’s how the aardvark likes it. One song that has escaped from the cave was. Bass by wine-making hotshot Dave Hamburger. Which ain’t often...
