Connecting with God in Every day Life

Connecting with God in Every day Life. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Here are some of the ways we need people. 1 Touch - We first and foremost need people for physical touch. If we are not held and touched when we are first born, we can die that is how bad we need touch. This need for touch does not go away. 2 To be understood – You and I have a fundamental need to be understood. We need to know that someone understands our perspective. Being understood connects us to other people. Tom and Mia Corcoran. Or wo...

Connecting with God in Every day Life: The Principle of Yesterday

http://nativitytom.blogspot.com/2012/03/principle-of-yesterday.html

Connecting with God in Every day Life. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. The Principle of Yesterday. The same thing happens in my spiritual life. I will pray today for something and expect God to act. Recently, I fasted for something and expected to see results from God that same day. What was I thinking? That is not how God works. We offer to him and then it usually God responds in his time, not ours, but it is rarely instant. This is why Scripture tells us over and over again to wait upon the Lord.

Connecting with God in Every day Life: April 2012

http://nativitytom.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Connecting with God in Every day Life. Monday, April 23, 2012. God promises to provide us with what we need. And he promises us himself. God’s providing for our needs and offering of himself go hand in hand. God will not meet our needs without offering us himself. And God meets our needs in order that we might know him. The story of the testing of Abraham so clearly illustrates this point. 8221; (Genesis 22:7). Tom and Mia Corcoran. Monday, April 16, 2012. What do you think of calling God quirky?

Kristanza: in today's news...

http://kristanzaa.blogspot.com/2010/08/in-todays-news.html

Monday, August 23, 2010. Your life is a life of blessings. I take joy in watching. You live. I love seeing you happy. But even more, I love. Seeing you grow. I love seeing you be dependent on Me. I love watching you try something new, even if you fall. Down after a few steps. I love when you take chances,. Stop hesitating and run full speed ahead when you feel. My push. I didn't make you to sit on display, unharmed,. Untouched, for everyone to watch and smile at you.You. Take courage, My.

Kristanza: prayer life

http://kristanzaa.blogspot.com/2010/07/prayer-life.html

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Have you ever heard anyone say "the love life you have is exactly the love life you want? I heard that yesterday and started thinking about the other kinds of 'lives' we have, specifically our prayer life. And I definitely think we have exactly the kind of prayer life we want. Meaning, if we really wanted one, or a deeper one, we would do it. We would have it. We would make the time. It's up to us. God's ready when we are. Here are a few:. I want my prayer life to be full of joy.

Friday, June 18, 2010. We pray specifically for the kids who don't yet know you and your amazing power. Who don't know that you are their Father who loves them more than anything and created them so unique and special. May they catch a glimpse of who you are and how badly you want to be their best friend. Join us in prayer and intercession for vbs: Start TODAY (or whenever this is read) and pray with us everyday at 3:00pm until next Friday, June 25. Posted by Church of the Nativity. http://kristanzaa.blogspot.com/2011/01/hi-im-writing-here-now.html

Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Hi, I'm writing here. I've been in a season where God is calling me to write with a more specific purpose, as opposed to sharing my heart here when He calls me to. So, in an effort to be obedient, I am switching my efforts to encouraging teen girls, which is a huge passion of my heart. Check it out! Posted by Church of the Nativity. Kristanza: pure worship

http://kristanzaa.blogspot.com/2010/07/pure-worship.html

Thursday, July 22, 2010. I really connect to God through music. Along my journey I have found that lots of other people do, too. Hense, I'm very into sharing music God uses to form my heart and annoint my spirit and to guide me along the way. The cd's are from a collection called "Enter the Worship Circle.". Here are four things I LOVE about these cd's:. 1) It's very raw. If you're looking for perfect pitch 100% of the time, with incredibly timed harmonies.this is NOT it. 2) The are original songs. Kristanza: re-creation

http://kristanzaa.blogspot.com/2010/09/re-creation.html

Wednesday, September 8, 2010. I forgot how much I love love LOVE Nichole Nordeman. Her music is so poetic and peaceful. This song is moving my SOUL today. Every evening sky, an invitation. To trace the patterned stars. And early in July, a celebration. For freedom that is ours. And I notice You. In children’s games. In those who watch them from the shade. Every drop of sun is full of fun and wonder. And even when the trees have just surrendered. To the harvest time. And sending us inside. Skeleton Bones"...

Bodysurfing: Prodigal

http://kathleenleslie.blogspot.com/2010/10/prodigal.html

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Words fascinate me. I still remember many of my vocabulary words from my youth, especially when a word was unique in meaning or had an unexpected pronunciation. I read the thesaurus for fun. Then I learned that most church people believed "prodigal" meant wayward, since the parable in Luke 15 seemed to concentrate on a really wild kid who disrespected his father. That made much more sense. Now that gives the dictionary definition: recklessly extravagant. In the parable, of co...

Blogging A Nativity | Just another WordPress.com site

Just another WordPress.com site. A Nativity 2012 here we come! December 19, 2012. So tonight was the dress rehearsal. We lit the candles, strew the straw, donned frocks and tried to make the sound desk work. And it all went really well! That said, there’s opportunities for laughs in this production, and the cast seize them brilliantly. It’s amazing what an emotional rollercoaster you can fit into 55 minutes! I hope to see you there.
