I'm pretty confident in drawing because it's the only form of art I've really tried. I haven't tried painting or sculpting. My brother likes to paint and he makes some pretty amazing artwork so I think I'd like to work on my painting. I'm curious about the blending of different colors in painting. Thursday, May 1, 2014. My household object is a lamp. There is a texture in the lamp shade created from the board it ws made on. The texture is accidental but not bad. I chose to illustrate contrast in this lamp. The black and white coloring creates a feeling of contrast, as do the round shapes and the sharp edged shapes. My 3D object is pretty close to what I planned it to be in my 2D design. The edges aren't as sharp and the shapes aren't as perfect but overall it's very close to my 2D design.

Freshman Anna told us about macro lenses that can clip onto iPhones! The kit actually comes with 3 lenses: macro, wide-angle, and fish-eye. Anna has spearheaded this project.
