So I’ve dug out my old Japanese language textbooks, got hold of the most recent edition of the Lonely Planet guide and (gulp) booked the flights: my son and I are off to Japan in October. So why call this blog ‘Natsukashi’? 8216;Natsukashi’ is Japanese word which conveys the sense of enjoying moments past. For me, it’s a really evocative word and one which captures the spirit of this nostalgia trip. O tanoshimi kudasai (enjoy). I wish you luck.
