Around the world in 80 years (give or take). Monday, October 31, 2005. Cell phone number, round 3. K, sorry everyone who was hoping for some fun korea story/picture (don't worry, I'll have some soon), but first I have to make yet another cell phone number correction. So it turns out that the number I originally put out, 010-5838-2225. Well, for most of you, none of this will matter anyway, because if you really want to talk to me, you should get skype, which is free ( www.skype.com. In other news, my cla...

http://nowhereman83.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Around the world in 80 years (give or take). Sunday, June 18, 2006. Another day, another 955.5 won. Went to my first Korean wedding last month, of my friend Ebi (sp? A Japanese girl who's marrying a Korean guy. It was fun, especially since I went with my old host mom and host sister, and they managed to get the ajuma (middle-aged lady) who worked there to let me try on the traditional wedding clothes and pose for pictures at the traditional wedding table. My host mom is awesome. Posted by Mike @ 10:56 PM.

http://nowhereman83.blogspot.com/2008/06/california-here-i-came.html
Around the world in 80 years (give or take). Wednesday, June 25, 2008. California here I came. In April I moved to southern California, the first time I've been on the West Coast (not counting inside airports) in 24 years. Time to see if the state is all its residents make it out to be. Anyway, here are some recent pictures:. Irvine, aka the middle class suburban American Dream. Hiking in some National Park near Pasadena. In and Out- A fast-food chain here that Californians LOVE. It was pretty good.

Nowhereman83: September 2006
http://nowhereman83.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Around the world in 80 years (give or take). Monday, September 25, 2006. Last Trip Around Korea. We also took a variety of buses, a boat, and a standing-room-only train, and ate sea snails, conch, and bondegi (steamed silkworm pupae). The sea snails were pretty good, and the bondegi, as you might have guessed, was disgusting. Here are the pictures:. Posted by Mike @ 11:07 PM. View my complete profile. http://nowhereman83.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Around the world in 80 years (give or take). Wednesday, July 19, 2006. This last weekend I went to the much-anticipated Mud Festival. In Boryeong, which is about 2.5 hours south of Seoul. Unfortunately, we couldn't get early train tickets, so we didn't get there until about 4pm. When we walked onto the beach, we saw a lot of mud-covered people, but to our surprise, THERE WAS NO MUD LEFT! Posted by Mike @ 10:23 PM. Monday, July 10, 2006. Around the world in 80 years (give or take). Sunday, November 13, 2005. Pepero Day and Soccer Game. Riday was a Korean holiday- pepero day. Although widely celebrated in Korea, it's not really an official holiday, bu. Well, I saw this one Korean guy who was doing that, except instead of those sticks he was using two big plastic beer bottles, whose contents he had evidently recently consumed (I really wish I had gotten a picture of it). Classic. Posted by Mike @ 8:00 PM. Posted by Mike @ 12:50 AM. PS Alot...

Nowhereman83: Still alive
http://nowhereman83.blogspot.com/2008/01/still-alive.html
Around the world in 80 years (give or take). Thursday, January 10, 2008. If there's any confusion regarding the title of this post, let me explain. I'm not about to recount some harrowing near-death experience, but rather it's a reference to the prolonged lack of posts which has been brought to my attention by my many readers. And by "many", I mean "between one and two". So here's a summary of the past 3 months:. Posted by Mike @ 4:46 PM. View my complete profile. Soo (in Senegal) Kim.
