Are You There, Stork? It's me, Katie. I’m Pregnant…For Now. On Thursday, I got a positive pregnancy test. On Friday, my first beta result came back solid: 243. I went in for a second beta on Sunday. The result came back at only 430. The nurse said they aren’t worried yet, but the doubling time is low (58 hours) and I have to do a third beta tomorrow. Are You There, Stork? It's me, Katie. I had my third beta today (18 DPO), and it came back at 803. The number. Doubled–the actual doubling time was 51 hours–which was good enough for my RE to set an ultrasound appointment for August 31. I don’t know if I want time to fly by, or if I want everything to slow way down so I can enjoy being pregnant and having a smidgen of confidence that we’ll actually bring home a baby in a few months.
