Today on this glorious sunny and very windy day we decided to head over to Mount Nemo for a nice hike. We decided on the north loop which takes about 75 minutes. We are still working on the gardens and hitting the trails though. I’m so excited for spring. Today we ran some errands in town, then on the way home we picked a part of the Bruce trail to explore. It’s Friday now and I brought our first 100 meat chickens to market on Monday. They’ve been selling fast as usual but there are still some lovely cuts available if you are able to come out this weekend. Bone-in, skin-on thighs. The next 100 will be similarly prepared for August 10. The final 100 will all be whole birds, available in October. June 10, 2015. June 26, 2015.

While we only use our milk for our Handmade Goatmilk Soap, we do offer goat meat whenever we have any available. We keep the ladies to build our herd and the boys go to market and grace your plates. With record sales on sausages. I know many of you may have missed out, so we are going to make it up to you. I told everyone 5 weeks to super sausage selection…. Well, make that 2! We’ve managed to re-book our piggy for next week and will have sausages available for you Wednesday June 10! Boudin Blanc (single batch).

Our farm, our family. My hubby loves his Tams. Sir Francis Bacon is our boar; Diva, Penny Lane and Ruby Tuesday are his ladies (sows). Sir Francis is a stud. He likes to visit ladies at other farms too. He’s so darn good looking and does his job well. Tams have litters of up to 14, about twice a year, the piglets are so very cute.
