A Note From Naturalocs. Guide: Start Your Journey. Month 38: I’m not happy with my dreads. Right now my locs are dirty, dry, rough, off colour, shrunken, frayed, and uneven. My roots are puffy and my locs are stiff. I hate the colour (an unflattering brown with orangey tips, due my last dye job). My locs make me feel ugly. Wasn’t the awkward stage only supposed to last a year or two? 38 months and I’m so disheartened. I’m tempted to cut them. I wish they were smaller. Well what can I do? May 22, 2015.
