Sunday, March 10, 2013. Normally, I just grumble about the lost hour and being sleepy. But this evening decided to take advantage of the extra daylight for a walk down to the garden plot for some preliminary work. New growth on the accidentally wintered-over root vegetables: yes, please. Flowers and shoots around the neighborhood: don't mind if I do. The smell of people firing up their grill: welcome Spring, old friend. Ahh Spring. We are still expecting snow tomorrow. Enjoy the green!

Tuesday, July 23, 2013. I hate this heat. And I wish it would snow. You wont be saying that in January. At least you dont have humidity to go along with it. Of course after a week of above 100 the last few days have been in the high 60s. Jesse came home and closed the windows saying he was too cold.really! Yes, at least I dont have humidity.
