Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Have you ever been there? If I have to make another homemade dinner from scratch. If I hear, "Honey, I'm working on Saturday again.". If there is one more sibling circular argument. All the day in- day out things:. Load the dishwasher- -unload the dishwasher. Another load of laundry piled up waiting to be washed, dried and put away. Another week of assignments to plan for. Another week of activities, deadlines and responsibilities. Rehearsals, lessons, volunteering, holidays.

Today I'm thankful for good rehearsals, all the time we've got to spend at home this weekend, for shoes that won't cripple me, plenty of food, laughter and warmth. Monday, July 20, 2015. Saturday, we made a whirlwind trip to Alabama- there and back. My dad's last living brother passed away earlier in the week from a short battle with cancer. My extended family doesn't see each other very much and we say half-jokingly that we only see each other at funerals. But we will always be family. Bound together by blood and shared memories. Friday, September 26, 2014. This year, Tera and Daniel had a chess tournament on the same date. They did not show the least bit of interest or grief about missing "fun day".
