Lens review: Zoom Nikkor 25-50mm F4 Ai, Part 2. December 8, 2008. It is a weaker lens in technical aspects compared to the AF-S 28-70 F2.8 ED lens. But it has a unique character that can not be copied by many modern optics (e.g. most cheap plastic lenses).
