Secret garden crazy quilts. Friday, March 5, 2010. Today I went to Rokko's in Little India at 46th and Fraser and bought some dioponi silk to complete my mermaid purse. It is such an amazing store with saris and beautiful fabrics. Pictures at http:/ naturesbrushstrokes.blogspot.com/. On Wednesday, I went to Dick and Jane's at Duderave and bought some DMC5 Perle embroidery thread. I love to see the array of colours on the wall and choosing the ones that match my blocks. I love colour! Thank you so much.

Angie's Art Time: July 2009
http://angiesarttime.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2009. Do you display your art work? I have joined a yahoo group of lovely ladies in the True North Arts with Kathryn Antyr, and they have been discussing 'Do you dispaly your art work? For me this question became a profound one, it really got me thinking about my art work and how I perceive myself as an "artist". The answer to the question in short is NO, I do not display my art work, and as I realised this I became curious with myself and wondered, why? Am I afraid of what others think?

Friday, August 7, 2009. I am happy to say that this week I feel I have accomplished something positive! I have finally started my journal pages. http://angiesarttime.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Look at what I did, I am sooo proud of myself for learning to make this bag and I enjoyed it so much. Look it has pockets too! At first I must admit was a little apprehensive about sewing, even at school I never did well. But I love the whole idea of making things like bags, skirts and softies for myself and the kids. So now I feel with the limited knowledge I can go forth and learn more progress and have more crafty fun! My next project in sewing might be a skirt! Before I...
