Monday, July 21, 2014. Maplewood Trail Riding Date! Travis' parents took the girls on Friday. Then after work I ran home and we dressed upand then hit the Fargo street fair with NO kids in tow! After that we went to a burger joint called Sickie's Garage (they sub a veggie burger). SO good! They make all kinds of crazy burgers. Friday, June 21, 2013. Sophia the pony trainer! Sophia has been riding Pepper almost every day! She now rides him by herself VERY comfortably in our apple orchard and fairly comfortably down the road (with mom or dad close by! She can get him to walk, stop, and turn by herself, and she slides off him by herself too. She also loves leading him EVERYWHERE (basically walks him like a dog! The girls crawling around this week! Monday, June 23, 2014. 4H Practice Show etc. We found a meadow lark in our front yard last week! He was sooo pretty! We had some bad storms last week. I think this one rolled through on Wednesday. It's always fun to watch them LEAVE out over the prairie. :) The storm in these pics actually made funnel clouds and generated tornado warnings in the town (Barnesville) 10 mi south of us. More storms coming this week. it's the season! The weekend weather cleared beautifully! We were at the show 9am to 4pm.

Monday, October 27, 2014. Kaia loves the book about road construction called "Easy Street." She was reading it to all of us over and over this weekend, and Travis thought we should have a video! Her favorite line in the book is "roll it down, make it flat." Kaia is very interested in books, just like Sophia was! Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Travis scooped Lily up after he went to Fargo in the morning to buy a topper for our pickup. Lily spent almost the whole day at our place, and it was so nice to have an unscheduled day for the girls to enjoy. They started with bagels from a bakery for breakfast, and then did lots of coloring and crafting. Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Office Party, Santa's Village, Zoo Party. On December 6 we had our annual office party! I was the official party planner/hostess/emcee/everything that night, so I didn't get many pictures :( I did get REALLY lucky with Kaia because she was more sociable than usual and didn't mind getting passed around! This was essential for lowering my stress level! On Dec. 8 I braved sub-zero cold to take Sophia, her friend Lily, and Kaia to Santa's Village while the men chopped wood.

Friday, September 20, 2013. A few shots from last week. These are our pics from last weekend. We packed in a lot of fun :). On Friday we met at Gooseberry Park for play and a pizza picnic, then watched Sophia's gymnastics, and then I hopped on Margie bareback for a quick 1-miler while Travis hung out with the girls. perfect way to start things off!
