Wednesday, July 2, 2008. This is a soft cake like recipe. I find that you really need something like sour cream, cream cheese or butter milk to make a soft sugar cookie. 1 c sour cream. 1 t backing soda. 6 t backing powder. Mix sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Mix in rest of ingredient's. Sit dough out for an hour. Roll out 1/4 inch on floured surface with a rolling pin. Cut in desired shapes, Bake 375 for 8 min. If the cookie is really small I adjust lower the time baked. 1/2 c cold water.

Saturday, June 7, 2008. Adyson's Birthday Cake for Her Friends Party. Ady seen the pictures of the cup cake baque I made Jan and she wanted one for her friends part. Ady turned 8! I really had a hard time with this. I wanted to find a Pink vase. You can't really tell but this is a bowl that has pick poke a dots. I couldn't find any pink rafiel. I used Wilson's Whipped Icing on this. i had few problems with the icing dropping off. I took a white cake mix and added 1 package of strawberry jello. 2/3 c cake...

Brandi (Top ) is the hardest to get a picture of I think every picture I have she is saying "Don't take my picture" or "this is enough". Here is a picture when she ran a 10k last year with Stockton our oldest grandson. Brandi makes great rolls and Cinnamon rolls! This is Aleisa (Middle), she loves to bake. We all love her peanut butter cookie recipe! She made the cutest cupcakes for McKenzies birthday.

Saturday, April 26, 2008. Grandma Massey's Pumkin Cookies. 1 1/2 c brown sugar. 1/2 t lemon juice. 2 1/2 c flour. 2 t baking powder. 1 1/2 c pumkin. Cream together shortening sugar and effs. Mix in pumkin, flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger. Add dry ingredients to shortening mixture. Add vanilla, chocolatae chips and Bake 12-15 min at 350. Sunday, April 20, 2008. Sunday, April 19, 2009. This is my finished product from the fondant class. I really didn't have much of a plan. We learned how to do brushed embroidery. I haven't tried it yet but it is on my list of things to do. We also made Italian butter cream. Can't wait to test it out on the family. It was a lot of fun.
