I can't condone a military officer threatening an elected government, but I have huge sympathy with Commodore Frank Bainimarama. The Prime Minister is clearly making a rash move in enacting a law to exonerate and free the coup leaders. Commodore Bainimarama should resign his commission and stand as PM in Fiji.
