Walk/Hike-Costa Rica

For the admission ticket to the waterfalls you have to pay $8 dollars per person (at the office). It doesn´t include anything else, just the admission ticket. Bring your own food, because we have food only for the horse back tour people. This walk is only recommended for people in a very good shape, is not recommended for kids, old people or sick people, because it´s pretty heavy and muddy in the raining season. We recommend to bring: Sunblock, bathing suit and walking shoes.

The horseback riding tour. Is over a 12 kilometer route with three resting periods, departing from our office, passing by Don Lulo’s house, where you will have a delicious and typical Costa Rican breakfast. The horseback riding tour. Takes approximately from 45 minutes to one hour up to “Don Lulo’s house”. After breakfast and observing animals in the family’s mini-zoo, the ride continues on for 25 minutes until arriving at the waterfalls. You may swim in the natural pools the waterfalls have formed.

Important information on the horseback ride. The tour is from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Takes approximately 2 ½ hours with three resting periods. It includes: horseback tour, experienced guides, breakfast, lunch, entrance to the waterfalls, raincoats during the rainy season and safe parking. Closed on Sundays and special dates. Reservations must be made in advance. We have tame horses for all ages. We prefered cash in dollars or colones. The maximum weight is 230 lb or 105 kg. Nauyaca Waterfalls - Costa Rica.
